Initial situation: there is a working name for the product - "GuardMesh". This is a B2B SaaS platform for implementing Zero Trust in medium-sized companies: network segmentation, access policy, auditing. Currently a temporary stock sign is being used which makes the brand look untrustworthy. At the same time, we are preparing a redesign of the web interface in Figma and a launch on Product Hunt in 6 weeks. The logo should work both in the product (in the header of the web application), and in the documentation (PDF), and as an application icon. Subject area and context: audience - CIOs and information security specialists. The brand image is technological, trust, control, without aggression and militarism. You cannot use clichés such as shields with locks and direct borrowings from existing cyber brands. Task and stages: 1) Short analysis of competitors - 8-12 companies from cybersecurity and related B2B SaaS, with conclusions on sign form factor, readability, typography and similarity risks. 2) Formation of direction - 2 different conceptual routes (meanings, visual metaphors, tonality), each with 1-2 draft versions of the sign. 3) Development of the chosen direction - bringing it to the final state: sign + wordmark. We need 2 versions of wordmark - Latin "GuardMesh" and Cyrillic "GuardMesh" for Russian-language materials. 4) System of options - horizontal and vertical layouts, monochrome, inversion, option for small sizes (favicon/app icon) with simplified details. 5) Mini-guide - brief rules of use on 1-2 pages: indents, minimum sizes, prohibitions, palette, background recommendations. Technical environment and tools: Design must be done in Adobe Illustrator or Figma (preferably Illustrator for final vector preparation). Scalability test - test in dimensions 16-24-32-48-128 px and printed on A4 as part of the PDF cover page. Restrictions: - Do not use ready-made templates, logo generators and neural network images as the final result. - The mark must be original and legally safe in terms of external similarity - without obvious similarities with popular cyber brands. - Do not use gradients as the only way to distinguish shapes - the logo should be readable in 1 color. Specific result (files): - AI or FIG sources with neat layer structure and components/artboards. - SVG and PDF (vector) export for all options. - Export PNG with transparency: 512, 256, 128, 64, 32, 16 px (for the sign and for the full version). - Color values in RGB and CMYK, specifying the main font or custom wordmark rendering. Measurable acceptance criteria: - Readability of the sign and wordmark at 24 px in the interface and recognition of the sign at 16 px (for favicon) - without sticking together key details. - In monochrome (black on white and white on black), the logo retains its distinctive shape. - The sign has the correct safe zone and minimum size, fixed in the mini-guide. - The resulting SVGs open in the browser without artifacts and without raster inserts. - At least 2 different concepts are provided at the selection stage and the final version corresponds to the chosen concept. Communication: 2 rounds of edits included - one after concept selection, one after pre-final.
