Measurements and users
Reliable planning requires verified dimensions, levels, openings, risers, ventilation, panels, and fixed constraints. The brief records users, routines, storage, work, children, pets, guests, cleaning, and accessibility. Commercial interiors add customer flow, staff operations, equipment, acoustics, and maintenance.
Layout before decoration
Zoning, circulation, doors, furniture, sanitary areas, and escape routes are tested before colors and styling. Options should represent different planning strategies. Wet services, structure, gas, ventilation, heating, and fire systems cannot be approved by an interior image alone.
Materials and lighting
Schedules identify products or measurable requirements, quantities, waste, format, color, and substitution rules. Important finishes need physical samples. Lighting intent coordinates with furniture, but loads, circuits, protection, and installation require responsible electrical design.
Implementation package
The set may cover demolition, partitions, floors, ceilings, elevations, finishes, furniture, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and schedules. Scope is agreed in advance. Design support answers questions but does not replace site supervision or contractor quality control.
